Baby Massage & Yoga
Suitable from birth to crawling
A Baby Massage & Yoga class with your young baby is a great way to get to know your little person further in a relaxed, calm and happy environment without the distractions of everyday life!
The class has been developed to include baby massage & baby yoga and will run over 5 weeks. Each week you will learn new massage strokes and soothing holds on each area of your baby’s body and we will practise some baby yoga too, encouraging development. Through nurturing, loving touch, baby massage & yoga allows you to communicate with your new baby and see their character develop in a fun and playful way.
Parents have reported better sleep patterns for their baby and an improvement in common ailments such as wind, constipation and colic. We also encourage rest and relaxation for mums and dads with time for a coffee and a chat too!
Baby, Toddler & Pre-school Yoga
Support your child's development from baby to crawling and on to preschool.
Each class is tailored to the ages and needs of the children and includes massage, stretching, balancing and singing to help your child’s development from baby to confident toddler and preschooler.
Through songs, movement, exercise and most importantly fun, Tiddlers Yoga encourages body awareness, can aid digestion, sleep and the internal development of the child.
Within the class there will not only be yoga stretches for your little one, but also some light yoga for the parent. Each session is ended with time to relax and a chance to chat with other parents.
Mindfulness and Wellbeing
Suitable from preschool to teens
Children and young people are presented by many every day stressors which can impact learning and every day life. Children and young people may feel they struggle to gain their independence, uniqueness or identity in this particularly challenging developmental stage of life.
By using mindful techniques, we offer a chance for children to live in the 'now', to connect back to themselves and those around them and to encourage them to 'just be' rather than always 'doing'.
This can lead to decreased anxiety, irritability or depression; improved academic performance; better focus and enhanced quality relationships.
Sessions are planned to suit individual needs and may include yoga, meditation and mindful activities.
